2026 NCIGF Annual Conference – Service, Growth & Resiliency

Our community gathered in ‘the city of brotherly love’ for a rewarding day and a half of meetings. Maxing out registration with over 120 members, presenters, and exhibitors, Philadelphia was the perfect spot to celebrate our system and the country’s 250th.

Highlights included:

  • A warm welcome from the Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Guaranty Fund, with Raymond Bauso serving as emcee for the event and host for the lavish reception on day one.

  • An efficient Annual Meeting of Members where the following board members were re-elected: Chad Anderson (WGFS), Brad Roeber (CIGA), Tim Schotke (IL), Katie Evans (CSAA), Smanatha Freedman (GEICO), Chad Wilson (Nationwide), Robert Zeman (Allstate)

  •  Recognition of D. Keith Bell as our 2026 Gates-Marchman award recipient

  • An encouraging message from Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael Humphreys highlighting the importance of partnership, collaboration, and public service throughout the guaranty fund system

  • Our community’s first-ever service project– partnering with the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia to serve local children and families, with over 70 members pitching in together to help!

Why this conference matters: Our community is expanding and taking up the challenge to serve, grow, and prepare for the future together.

What’s next: NCIGF’s next events are the IT Summit, taking place June 24–25 in Las Vegas, NV (registration now open), followed by the Fall Workshop in Nashville, Tennessee, October 29–30.
