The guaranty fund community assembled in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, for the biennial IT Summit on June 24th -25th.

The theme: How to leverage emerging technologies to protect, process, and pay claims as efficiently and securely as possible.

Highlights included:

  • A live demonstration of AI social engineering.
  • The CIGA team sharing a case study, walking through their evaluation of digital payment platforms and ACH alternatives.
  • Breakout sessions covering topics such as AI use in software development, penetration testing, and exploring the legal side of technology.

Why this conference matters: The ever-changing landscape of technology is part of the guaranty fund's readiness strategy to build resilience not only in the people who serve this community, but also in the tools they use every day and in the future.
