Alex Rambau is the IT and Administration Manager at Western Guaranty Fund Services (WGFS), a role he has held since 2018. In this capacity, he leads strategic technology and operational initiatives, including the modernization of the organization’s claims platform into a fully serverless and highly scalable architecture.

Prior to joining WGFS, Alex served as a lead engineer for a public gaming company, where he designed and developed a real-time eSports tournament platform. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in Accounting and IT roles with a major heavy machinery dealership serving Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.

Alex is an active contributor to the insurance guaranty fund community, serving on the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds (NCIGF) UDS Technical Support Group and as Chair of the Guaranty Fund Information Systems Committee.

He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
