Casey McGraw is Vice President of Policy and Counsel at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), where he supports advocacy and policy efforts on reinsurance, guaranty funds, insurer resolution and recovery, catastrophic risk, resiliency and mitigation, international issues, legislative affairs, and amicus litigation. With more than 20 years of legal and insurance industry experience, Casey previously served for eight years with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), including four years as Senior Counsel, advising on insurance regulation, compliance, corporate governance, restructuring transactions, technology and innovation, and legal affairs. Before moving in-house, he built an extensive litigation practice representing insurers and businesses in complex matters involving insurance coverage, products liability, construction, professional negligence, commercial disputes, and personal injury litigation. His career combines deep regulatory expertise, policy development, corporate counsel experience, and trial and appellate advocacy. |
