LaToya Hines, CPA, is an accomplished financial professional with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. She currently serves as Controller of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund (IIGF), a position she has held since May 2014, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and other key operational functions. Prior to joining IIGF, LaToya held positions with a property and casualty insurance carrier and Ernst & Young (EY), where she began her professional career and became a licensed CPA. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and serves on the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds (NCIGF) Accounting Issues Committee.

Born and raised in Chicago, LaToya enjoys spending time with family and friends, supporting her son in his sports activities, and cheering on her favorite football team, the Chicago Bears.
