Michael Karaca is a Claims Manager with the California Insurance Guarantee Association, where he has served since 2012. He leads a team of supervisors and claims adjusters, focusing on delivering high-quality claims handling.

Michael is an active contributor to several key organizational committees, including Enterprise Risk, Litigation, and Fraud, Waste & Abuse. Through this work, he partners across functions to strengthen risk management practices, support effective litigation strategies, and promote organizational integrity.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new food, biking, hiking, and spending time with his family.
