Neil JacksonCounsel, State Farm
Neil Jackson serves as Counsel in the Life/Health/Investment Planning Services unit of the Law Department at State Farm®. Neil grew up in a small, rural town in North Central Wisconsin. In college, he served on the State Farm Youth Advisory Board, which led to two summer internships in the Law Department. Neil's first full-time position was in Human Resources as an Employee Relations Analyst in Bloomington, IL. He then had the amazing privilege of living and working in Washington, D.C., for seven years as a Public Policy Analyst in the Federal Affairs Office of the Law Department before returning to Bloomington for his current role. Neil earned his bachelor's degree in political science and economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He graduated magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law. Neil holds the ChFC, CPCU, and CLU designations. Neil enjoys volunteering on the boards of State Farm Federal Credit Union, four different state life and health insurance guaranty associations (IL, IN, WY, CO), National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds, as well as a local non-profit, Providing Access to Help, Inc., or PATH. Outside of work, Neil enjoys volunteering, rowing, yin yoga, reading financial/technology news, and pickleball. Neil’s husband, Christopher Charles Jackson, also works for State Farm as legislative/regulatory counsel for Michigan and Nebraska. |
