I have over 40 years in the insurance industry with most of those years in workers compensation claims management. Now, assuming the role of Director of Claims, I am again tasked with utilizing my experience across all lines of business. I have 5 years of regulatory experience working with workers compensation board and commission regulators around the country on improving medical fee schedules and medical bill processes. I was a member of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions for 4 years and worked with the IAIABC on developing model legislation and regulations for the processing and payment of medical bills in Workers’ Compensation. As a former member of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s workers compensation committee, I was a contributing member to the 2005 and 2011 Illinois workers compensation legislative changes. I’ve been with the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund for more than 13 years, and in a leadership role for 11 of those years.
